HISTORY OF THE FORMATION OF THE ITHACA HIGH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The Ithaca High School Alumni Association was formed by a small group of Ithaca area alumni in 2003. With the motto “Recapture the Spirit,” the Association is dedicated to furthering the traditions of excellence and spirit at Ithaca High school. Since 2003, we have sponsored an updated version of the IHS Alumni Directory, established a website and e-mail contact address, assisted classes in contacting members for reunions, helped alums to communicate with one another, and sponsored several local alumni events. "RECAPTURE THE SPIRIT"
The aim of the new website is make your visit here as interactive as possible and to enhance our ability to help with reunions and class events by having a centralized, member-updatable base available. It will also make possible easy communication among former students and staff and will expand our ability to keep everyone up-to-date with news of alumni, Ithaca High School, Ithaca, and its environs. Join us on our journey to make IHSAA a truly viable organization. We still have much that we would like to accomplish, and we need your help to do it.

All former students and staff can be associate members for free, but we urge you to consider a contribution of $10, by which you become eligible to vote on issues and become an officer. You can also have the privilege of becoming a website administrator or editor. We really want all the help we can get to make the website interesting and lively. We also welcome additional donations and contributions. To pay your $10 for a voting membership and/or make a donation, go to the Dues & Donations page. If you are interested in being involved in website content (deciding on page themes, writing content, or supplying us with pictures), please go to the Contact IHSAA page and write us an e-mail to let us know. The online editor is GREAT in that it allows you to create pages that in the old days required an expensive programmer.
